Southern Alberta Walleye Trail
Angler of the Year (AOY)
Points are calculated from your top 3 finishes out of 4 possible events
You must fish a minimum of 3 events to qualify for AOY
Within the 3 events you are counting for AOY points, you must fish with at least 2 unique partners (i.e., you cannot count all three events with the same partner)

AOY can be earned whether you compete as a Captain or a Co-Angler
All partners in events you fish must be paid SAWT members for points to count
This structure rewards steady results, encourages partnership variety, and ensures AOY reflects participation and performance across the Trail
